SOUTH WEST ROCKS CENTRELINK AGENCY
(Funded by Department Human Services)
Working at South West Rocks Centrelink Agency has been positive experience in the 7 years I have been employed here. The community is filled with caring people who appreciate this outreach service being available in their community.
In total there are four trained relief workers at the Agency who along with myself undergo regular training to maintain an up to date service. Steve Weilgolsinski, Janet Davidson and Kay Clarke are available to fill in whenever required. Sadly toward the end of this year we lost Kay Clarke after a short illness. As well as being an employee Kay has spent many years volunteering at South West Rocks, Kay will be sadly missed by all.
Centrelink have provided two new computers and a fax machine, improving access for clients. Our new Zone Agent Access Co-ordinator is Jay Percy who is always reliable and helpful.
The majority of our customers are now registered with My gov as the upgrades are almost completed and more people are now submitting their tax returns through this service.
Dianne and her staff from the Centrelink Office at Kempsey have been assisting with some of our inquiries and they continue to provide excellent support to the Agency.
